Milly snapped again, and we both went silent this time. "Finish that sentence and I swear to god I'll kick you so hard in the nuts you'll think you're on your period." I threatened.

"Yes I know!" I jumped, not expecting Jamie to answer. "Jamie knows?!" I barked down the phone at her. "Jamie, it's just a rumour!" Milly's voice sounded distant like she'd moved away from the phone. "Yes! It's just some stupid rumour!" I rolled over on my side and furiously tried to keep my eyes open. "It's one in the morning and you called to scream at me about some dumb rumour?!" I hissed back, after the ringing in my ear her shouting had caused stopped. "YOU HAD SEX WITH JOSH CARLTON IN THE CARETAKERS CUPBOARD?!" Her scream echoed loudly around my very quiet room and I quickly pulled the phone away from my ear. "What?!" I barked into the phone as soon as I answered the call. I cursed the day I let Milly pick a ringtone for herself.
